Instructional Design Project Reflection

      Now that we have reached the end of this course, I have a lot to reflect upon. Especially when it comes to my work and the amount of time management I had to do between this and my career in teaching, this was a major challenge. However, the most reflective piece of work I had, was my group's instructional model. This project was not only a cumulative challenge but also had our group really think about what our "learners" needed to get out of our model. I believe this model is not only valuable as a practice, but a targeted lesson for myself as a growing educator.      In terms of the work we did, I would like to start with the positives. U1: Assignment - WOL: My Goals As A Learning Designer

  As this is my first year in education, I had to think carefully about what I truly want for myself and what my expectations are moving forward. I have much to learn, as I have never taken a class centered around education, having studied history throughout the four years of earning my initial degree. You may ask, “Sebastian, why did you decide to become an educator in the first place?” This question has many answers, but it can be distilled into one key reason: I genuinely want to make a difference in students' lives, not only in historical education but in their education as a whole. My personal experiences have led me to undertake this extremely challenging career, and so far, I am just trying to stay afloat.
